Another Year Come and Gone

It all seems to have happened quickly yet slowly. Both fighting for space in our minutes, hours, days and months. Hurry up. Slow down. Time, time, time. Everything revolves around time. And what is "time"? Time, and our concept of it, is an ever changing backdrop on which we paint our lives.

Looking forward, 2011 is a blank canvas for Jay and I. Literally. We are lucky to have a beautiful piece of untouched Earth upon which we hope to build the next chapters of our lives.

I am not setting any resolutions for 2011. I do have a goal. Paint with bright, vibrant colors. In those days filled with grey or beige do my best to see the orange, the purple, the yellow and remember that each day is a gift.
